Late
last month we posted a message that actor Vin Diesel had posted on his Facebook
page, saying that he was going to have a meeting with Marvel.
Well
today he posted another message followed by an intriguing photo.
“PS.
Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen… you know I get tunnel vision
with my work… and after that meeting today… wow!”
So
if we were to read between the lines we would assume that either he is going to
play Hank Pym, aka Giant Man, aka Ant-Man or he is going to play the android
Vision.
Although
nothing is yet written in stone we can expect Vin Diesel to be in Edgar Wright’s
Ant-Man. Yes I said Ant-Man and not Avengers 2 like all the other rumors,
because it makes more sense.
Ok
think about this, every Marvel hero (Black Widow and Hawkeye don’t count, although
Black Widow was in Iron Man 2) had their respective solo or were part of a
movie, Ant-Man was not, and if you check the dates the Ant-Man film opens after
The Avengers 2 so it would be weird to have a superhero that we “don’t know”
fighting alongside other superheroes that are already very well established.
Having said that there are going to be two different Quicksilver’s in two different
films, Avengers 2 and X-Men: Days Of Future Past, so who knows.
