It
seems that the long anticipated Tomb Raider reboot its coming sooner than
expected. Producer Graham King (Hugo, Argo, Rango, Blood Diamond, The Departed,
Gangs of New York, Ali and Traffic) teamed up with MGM on the project and Marti
Noxon the writer and producer of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and writer for Mad
Men, Glee and Angel has been tapped to write the screenplay for the reboot, and
a good thing that is, because not only is she a talented writer, but she may
infuse the script with more than bouncing boobs and close ups of buts.
Regarding
the story, let’s hope that she and the studio decide to go with something
similar to the previous game, which shows a warrior and adventurer in the making
and not that crap that was served in the previous two films.
