Lion
King’s writer Roger Allers is working on a new script based on the book by Kahlil
Gibran, The Prophet, starring Liam Neeson, Salma Hayek, John Krasinski, Frank
Langella, Alfred Molina and Quvenzhané Wallis.
The
Prophet will have multiple directors, each for every chapter of the book, among
the directors chosen to work on the film are Tomm Moore (The Secret Of Kells),
Joan Gratz (Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase), Nina Paley (Sita Sings the Blues),
Bill Plympton (Guard Dog and Your Face), Paul an Gaetan Brizzi (Fantasia 2000),
Joann Sfar (The Rabbi’s Cat), Michael Soch (Chick) and Mohammed Harib (Freej)
