The
reboot of cult 70’s sci-fi classic, Logan’s Run has been having some problems
getting off the ground. First Carl Rinsch was set to direct but left to direct
Keanu Reeves in Universal’s 47 Ronin. Then was the turn of Nicolas Winding Refn
from Drive to direct and develop the project with Ryan Gosling to star in it,
but after years of development, Gosling left and the film crashed and burned.
Now Warner Bros. hired BioShock creator Ken Levine to develop a new draft of
the screenplay. Ken Levine’s BioShock is set in a similar world to that of
Logan’s Run, meaning they are both set in dystopian future societies.
