First Images From Twelve Years a Slave Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor

Here are the first images from Steve McQeen’s drama Twelve Years a Slave, based on the autobiography of the same name by Solomon Northup, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Fassbender, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Paul Giamatti, Quvenzhane Wallis, Brad Pitt, Sarah Paulson, Paul Dano, Scoot McNairy, Garret Dillahunt, Alfre Woodard, Dwight Henry and Michael K. Williams.

In Twelve Years a Slave Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Northup, an educated and married black man living in 1853 New York that after a job offer in Washington D.C. is kidnapped and forced into over a decade of slavery.

Twelve Years a Slave is schedule to open on December 27^th.
