News Flash - Electro photos in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 300: Rise of an Empire poster, Jurassic Park 4 and Helix trailer


Ron Moore, the man behind Battlestar Galactica has come up with a new show, Helix.
Helix is centered on a team of scientists from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) that travel to a high-tech research facility in the Artic in order to investigate a disease outbreak. Their action on the laboratory can either save mankind or destroy it.
The trailer doesn’t give us many answers nor does evolve what we already know.
Not much is yet known, only that Ron Moore is behind the show, no directors, writers or actors.



Zack Snyder has revealed the first poster for the 300 sequel, 300: Rise Of An Empire via is Twitter account with the caption “Seize you glory!”.
Although he is not directing the movie, due to Man of Steel, he is the film producer.
So 300: Rise Of An Empire is directed by Noam Murro and its based on an upcoming graphic novel by Frank Miller, called Xerxes and the story goes something like this.

Greek General Themistokles, attempts to unite all of Greece, by leading the charge that will utimaly change the course of the war, against the massive invading Persian forces, that aer led by the mortal turned god Xerxes and Artemesia, the vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

300: Rise of An Empire was written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and stars Sullivan Stapleton as General Themistokle, Rodrigo Santoro as Xerxes, Eva Green as Artemesia, Lena Headly as Queen Gorgo, Hans Matheson, David Wenham as Dilios, Igal Naor as King Darius, Callan Mulvey as Scyllias, Jack O’Connell as Calisto and Andrew Tiernan as Ephialtes.

300: Rise Of An Empire is schedule to arrive at theaters in April of this year.



Rick Carter is going to be the production designer and art director in the upcoming Jurassic Park 4. In his previous work you can see the first Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, Avatar and Lincoln, for these last two he received an Academy Award for art direction in Avatar and production design in Lincoln. So this new film will have some seriously good looks.

New photos from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have arrived. In here you can see Jamie Foxx as Electro the main villain for the sequel.








Official Synopsis:
In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
