Iron Man 3 – Extremis Technology Featurette

A new featurette for Iron Man 3 has emerged. In the featurette Marvel’s Boss Kevin Feige and Iron Man 3 director Shane Black explain Extremis, the technology that is used by the movie bad guy Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). They explain the basics of the tech that allows Mandarin to generate a new breed of unstoppable human beings. Actors James Badge Dale (Eric Savin) and Robert Downy Jr. (Tony Stark aka Iron Man) talk about the appeal of the tech.  

Official Synopsis:

Marvel’s Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Death Note, yes from the anime, not much yet known), and starred by Robert Downey, Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (James Rhodes/War Machine), Paul Bettany (voice of Jarvis), Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin), Guy Pearce (Aldrich Killian)and most likely Stan Lee.
