Guardians
Of The Galaxy Villains
After
securing Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax The
Destroyer) and Michael Rooker (Yondu), two new names have appeared in the cast
of James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, Ophelia Lovibond and Lee Pace.

Lovibond from No Strings Attached and Mr. Popper’s Penguins is set to play the
aide to the villain

Lee
Pace, the star of Pushing Daisies, Lincoln and The Hobbit trilogy as Thranduil,
who previously tested for one of the main hero roles, is in final negotiations
to play the main villain in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Although
the main villain hasn’t been officially announced we can assume that Thanos,
who appeared in the very end of The Avengers will have a small but important role,
since it’s most likely that he will be the main villain in The Avengers 2. But,
and let’s not get confused, there have been talks of The Collector and The
Controller appearing in the movies. The likeliest character to appear in
Guardians Of The Galaxy is The Controller, one of the henchmen of Thanos, but
if you think about it The Collector also falls under the guidelines of Marvel
Phase 2. He is one of the Elders of the Universe, immortal and has name suggests
he collects living beings (more).
So
it’s yet undetermined who the main character is going to be, but we can assume
that it will The Contoller.
